One of the keys to the company’s continued success is its ability to move products efficiently and on time. To create that capability, Pacific Coast founded its Material Transport division early in its history. Starting with one truck in 1961, the company now operates more than 40 power units and a variety of trailers designed to move products to and from the many divisions. Dispatchers direct drivers across eight states and Canada carefully timing movement of product to meet obligations. In addition to the power units of Material Transport, each division operates a fleet of two and three-axle delivery trucks to serve the needs of its customers.
